Is Genesis the next domino to fall in 2022 crypto contagion?
2022 has been a rocky road in crypto. The past year tells a story of fraud, Ponzi schemes, and uncontrolled institutional leverage. In last week's newsletter, we reported that crypto lending firm Genesis had faced a liquidity crunch and halted withdrawals. This week CEO of Genesis majority shareholder DCGs letter to investors leaked, sparking a lot of speculation on what might happen next. Cristiano Ronaldo launches NFT Collection with Binance
Cristiano Ronaldo dropped an NFT collection in collaboration with Binance on the 18th of November. The collection carries several varying utilities, depending on the NFT's rarity. In conjunction with the release of the NFTs, Binance is giving away free mystery boxes containing NFTs that are not a part of the main collection.

JP Morgan files for crypto wallet trademark
JP Morgan, the largest US bank, has officially registered a trademark for, beyond other services, processing crypto payments. The application got approved on November 15th, 2022. Even though Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan, is notoriously known in the crypto community for his negative remarks, this news shows an understanding of the need for crypto solutions.

Vahid Toosi at the launch of FolkFigur at Statens Konstråd
FolkFigur launches at Statens Konstråd on December 1st. We are delighted to announce that Norn's co-founder, Vahid Toosi, will participate and speak at the event. FolkFigur is the first Swedish governmental NFT and will mark this event as art history. Nordic Blockchain Conference is happening next week - Norn will be there
The last crypto conference for Norn to attend in 2022 is the Nordic Blockchain Conference in Copenhagen on the 1st of December. The event will be hosted in an intimate setting exclusively for 370 people.
